Creamy Shrimp Remoulade Salad


Description

A delightful salad combining tender shrimp with a tangy, creamy remoulade dressing, perfect for warm weather gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon hot sauce
  • 1/4 cup diced celery
  • 1/4 cup diced red onion
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Lettuce leaves for serving

Instructions

  1. Boil the shrimp in salted water for 2-3 minutes until cooked, then drain and cool.
  2. In a bowl, mix together the mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, hot sauce, salt, and pepper.
  3. Add the cooled shrimp, celery, red onion, and parsley to the dressing and mix well.
  4. Serve the salad on a bed of lettuce leaves.

Notes

This salad tastes best when served chilled and can be garnished with lemon wedges and extra parsley.
