Description

A luscious and indulgent appetizer featuring shrimp, crab, and spinach in a creamy base, perfect for gatherings or cozy evenings.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup cooked shrimp, chopped
  • 1 cup crab meat, shredded
  • 2 cups fresh spinach, chopped
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Tortilla chips or bread for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet, heat a little oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
  3. Add the chopped spinach to the skillet, cooking until it’s wilted, roughly 3-4 minutes.
  4. In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, sour cream, grated Parmesan cheese, shrimp, crab meat, lemon juice, and the cooked spinach mixture. Season with salt and pepper to taste, and mix everything until well combined.
  5. Transfer the creamy mixture to a baking dish. Bake it in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the top is bubbly and golden.
  6. Remove the dip from the oven and serve it warm with tortilla chips or slices of fresh bread.

Notes

For a garnish, sprinkle fresh parsley or additional grated cheese before serving. Can be prepared a day in advance.
