- 1 cup cooked chicken, shredded
- 1/2 cup heavy cream

- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 small onion, diced

- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- In a large pot, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the diced onion and minced garlic. Sauté until soft and fragrant, about 3-4 minutes.
- Stir in the orzo pasta and cook for 1-2 minutes to enhance the flavor.
- Pour the chicken broth into the pot, bring it to a boil, then reduce the heat, cover, and simmer for about 10 minutes until the orzo is tender.
- Stir in the shredded chicken, heavy cream, and grated Parmesan cheese. Season with salt and pepper, and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until heated through.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
