Description

A delightful appetizer that combines the comforting taste of potatoes with the irresistible aroma of garlic. Perfect for parties or a cozy night in!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 large potatoes
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped chives for garnish

Instructions

  1. Peel and chop the potatoes into small cubes. Boil them in a pot of salted water until tender, approximately 15 minutes. Drain and let cool slightly.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the boiled potatoes and minced garlic. Mash until smooth.
  3. Add the sour cream, cream cheese, and olive oil. Mix until creamy and well combined.
  4. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Transfer to a serving bowl and garnish with chopped chives. Serve with chips or vegetable sticks.

Notes

For a lighter version, substitute Greek yogurt for sour cream. Add red pepper flakes or diced jalapeños for a spicy kick. Customize with different herbs or cheeses.
