Ingredients

  • 1 cup almond milk (or milk of choice)
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 1 tablespoon honey (or maple syrup)
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt (optional)
  • Ice cubes (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a blender, combine the banana, almond milk, cocoa powder, honey, vanilla extract, and Greek yogurt if using. Blend until smooth and creamy.
  2. Pause to scrape down the sides of the blender to ensure everything is well mixed.
  3. If desired, add ice cubes to thicken and blend again until smooth.
  4. Pour into glasses and enjoy immediately, garnishing with cocoa powder or banana slices if desired.

Notes

Use a ripe banana for maximum sweetness and creaminess. For a vegan option, use plant-based milk and maple syrup. Adjust cocoa powder based on your taste preference.
