- 1 cup orzo pasta
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Heat the olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Add the cooked shredded chicken to the pot and stir well.
- Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a gentle boil. Stir in the orzo and broccoli, then reduce heat to a simmer. Cook until orzo is tender, approximately 10 minutes.
- Turn off the heat and add heavy cream and grated Parmesan cheese, stirring until melted and blended. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Notes
Serve warm, garnished with extra Parmesan and black pepper. Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
