Description

Delightful bite-sized pastries blending creamy cream cheese with tart cranberry sauce, all enveloped in flaky crescent dough.


Ingredients

  • 1 can crescent roll dough
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup cranberry sauce
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • Optional: powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Combine the softened cream cheese, cranberry sauce, sugar, and vanilla extract in a mixing bowl.
  3. Roll out the crescent dough and cut it into triangles.
  4. Place a generous spoonful of the cranberry cream cheese mixture at the wide end of each triangle.
  5. Roll up the dough tightly starting from the wide end.
  6. Arrange the rolled bites on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  7. Brush the tops of the bites with the beaten egg.
  8. Bake in the oven for about 12-15 minutes until golden brown and the dough is cooked through.
  9. Dust with powdered sugar before serving, if desired.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Freeze unbaked bites for up to 2 months.
