Description

A deliciously indulgent breakfast casserole combining sausage, bacon, cheese, and hash browns, perfect for brunch or family gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound (450g) pork sausage
  • 1 pound (450g) bacon, chopped
  • 4 ounces (113g) cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup (120g) sour cream
  • 2 cups (200g) shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 package (30 oz) frozen hash browns
  • 1 ranch dressing mix packet
  • 4 large eggs
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large skillet, cook the sausage and bacon over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
  3. In a bowl, mix cream cheese, sour cream, ranch dressing mix, and eggs until smooth.
  4. In a greased baking dish, layer the frozen hash browns, cooked sausage and bacon, and top with cheddar cheese. Pour the cream cheese mixture over and season with salt and pepper.
  5. Bake for 45-50 minutes, until golden brown and bubbly.
  6. Allow to cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

This casserole can be prepared ahead of time and stored in the fridge. Perfect for brunch gatherings!
