Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • Chocolate melts or melting chocolate for dipping
  • Sprinkles or decorative toppings

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter, sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
  3. Beat in the eggs and vanilla extract.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add to the creamed mixture.
  5. Roll the dough into small balls and flatten them slightly on a baking sheet.
  6. Bake for 8-10 minutes or until the edges are golden.
  7. Allow cookies to cool completely.
  8. Melt the chocolate according to package instructions.
  9. Dip the cooled cookies halfway into the melted chocolate and place them on a parchment-lined tray.
