Indulge in the heavenly combination of creamy cheesecake and decadent cookie dough with these delightful bars.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 2 packages (8 ounces each) cream cheese, softened
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×9 inch baking pan.
  2. Mix together the flour, brown sugar, granulated sugar, softened butter, vanilla, and salt until well combined.
  3. Press the cookie dough mixture firmly into the bottom of the prepared baking pan.
  4. Beat the softened cream cheese until smooth, then add sugar and vanilla and mix well. Add the eggs one at a time.
  5. Pour the cream cheese mixture over the cookie dough layer in the baking pan.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until edges are set and center is slightly jiggly.
  7. Let the bars cool completely in the pan, then refrigerate for at least 2 hours.

Notes

These bars can be made a day in advance and stored in the refrigerator. For a flavor twist, add a pinch of cinnamon or mini chocolate chips.
