Description

A delightful blend of cookie and cake that is chewy, packed with chocolate chips, and perfect for any celebration.


Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 cups chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup frosting (optional, for decoration)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  2. In a bowl, mix the flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
  3. Cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
  4. Beat in the vanilla extract and eggs until well combined.
  5. Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet mixture, stirring until it forms a thick dough.
  6. Fold in the chocolate chips.
  7. Spread the dough evenly in the prepared baking pan.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the edges are golden and a toothpick comes out clean.
  9. Allow to cool and frost if desired, then slice and serve.
