Description

A delightful and hearty sandwich featuring savory pastrami, tangy sauerkraut, and creamy Swiss cheese, all embraced by crispy rye bread.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz Pastrami
  • 1 cup Sauerkraut
  • 4 slices Swiss cheese
  • 1/4 cup Russian dressing
  • 4 slices Rye bread
  • 2 tbsp Butter

Instructions

  1. Heat a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Spread butter on one side of each slice of rye bread.
  3. Layer pastrami, sauerkraut, Swiss cheese, and Russian dressing on the unbuttered side.
  4. Top with another slice of rye bread, buttered side up.
  5. Grill the sandwich for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  6. Slice in half and serve warm.

Notes

For a lighter option, swap pastrami with turkey or make it vegetarian with grilled veggies.
