- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce
- 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes
- 2 cups elbow macaroni
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional)
Instructions
- In a large skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Add the chopped onion and minced garlic to the skillet. Sauté until translucent.
- Stir in the tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, and paprika. Bring to a boil, then add the elbow macaroni.
- Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for about 20 minutes, or until the macaroni is tender. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- If desired, top with shredded cheddar cheese before serving.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Freeze for up to 3 months. You can customize with different pasta shapes or add vegetables.
