Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, Earl Grey tea, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
- In a large mixing bowl, cream the softened butter and granulated sugar together until light and fluffy, about 3-5 minutes.
- Add the egg, vanilla extract, and milk to the creamed mixture and beat until well combined.
- Gradually add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients, mixing on low speed until just combined.
- Use a cookie scoop or tablespoon to drop dough balls onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, until the edges are lightly golden and centers remain soft.
- Let cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
