- 1 sheet of puff pastry
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
- Cooking spray (for air fryer)
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C). Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the granulated sugar and ground cinnamon. Stir until well blended.
- Cut the rolled-out puff pastry into strips about 1 inch wide. Coat the strips with the cinnamon sugar mixture and twist each strip tightly.
- Brush each twist with the beaten egg and spray lightly with cooking spray. Cook in the air fryer for about 8-10 minutes until golden brown and crispy. Allow to cool slightly on a wire rack before serving.
Notes
For extra flavor, consider adding nutmeg or vanilla extract to the cinnamon sugar mixture. Store any leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days or freeze for up to a month.
