Description

Ingredients

  • 1 sheet of puff pastry
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • Cooking spray (for air fryer)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C). Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the granulated sugar and ground cinnamon. Stir until well blended.
  3. Cut the rolled-out puff pastry into strips about 1 inch wide. Coat the strips with the cinnamon sugar mixture and twist each strip tightly.
  4. Brush each twist with the beaten egg and spray lightly with cooking spray. Cook in the air fryer for about 8-10 minutes until golden brown and crispy. Allow to cool slightly on a wire rack before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, consider adding nutmeg or vanilla extract to the cinnamon sugar mixture. Store any leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days or freeze for up to a month.
