A delightful blend of fluffy cake and crunchy cinnamon streusel, perfect with coffee or tea.
Ingredients

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 2 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter (for streusel)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a 9×13 inch baking pan.
- In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt; whisk until even.
- In a separate bowl, mix milk, vegetable oil, eggs, and vanilla; stir into dry ingredients until just combined.
- In a small bowl, mix cinnamon, brown sugar, and nuts for the streusel topping.
- Pour half of the batter into the pan, sprinkle with half of the streusel, add remaining batter, and top with remaining streusel.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Allow to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
Serve warm, dusted with powdered sugar or drizzled with a glaze.
