- 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease or line a 9×13 inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- Mix the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.
- Cream together the softened butter and sugar until smooth and fluffy, about 3-5 minutes, then beat in the egg and stir in the vanilla and almond extract.
- Blend the dry ingredients into the creamed mixture until just combined.
- Spread the dough evenly into the prepared baking pan.
- Bake for 9 to 11 minutes until edges are lightly golden.
- Cool completely in the pan on a wire rack.
- Frost the bars with creamy vanilla frosting after cooling.

Notes
