Ingredients

  • 2 cups unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cream together the softened butter and powdered sugar until light and fluffy, then mix in the vanilla extract.
  3. Add flour and salt gradually, mixing until smooth. Roll dough into 1-inch balls, flatten slightly and place on the baking sheet.
  4. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until edges are golden brown. Cool on a wire rack.
  5. Melt chocolate chips and dip one end of each cookie into the chocolate. Allow to set before serving.

Notes

Store in an airtight container for up to one week, or freeze for up to three months. Allow chocolate to set before serving.
