- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar

- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 large egg
- 1 cup chopped strawberries
- 1 cup chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, mix together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In a large bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth and fluffy. Add vanilla extract and egg; mix until well incorporated.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, then fold in chopped strawberries and chocolate chips.
- Drop spoonfuls of cookie dough onto the lined baking sheet, spacing them out to allow for spreading. Bake for 10-12 minutes until set.
- Let cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
Notes
Store cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days or refrigerate for up to a week. For longer storage, freeze wrapped cookies for up to 3 months.
