Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a muffin tin.
- Mix the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a bowl.
- Combine the buttermilk, melted butter, and vanilla extract in a separate bowl.
- Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until just combined. Gently fold in the chocolate chips.
- Fill each muffin cup about 2/3 full with the batter.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until a toothpick inserted comes out clean and the tops are golden brown.
- Let the cruffins cool slightly before transferring them to a wire rack.
