- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1 can sweetened condensed milk
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×9 inch baking pan.
- In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
- Beat in the vanilla extract.
- Gradually add the flour and salt, mixing until combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Press the dough into the prepared baking pan evenly.
- Pour the sweetened condensed milk over the top of the dough.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the edges are golden.
- Allow to cool completely before cutting into bars.
Notes
Store in an airtight container at room temperature for about a week, or refrigerate/freeze for longer storage.
