Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

  • 1 cup caramel sauce
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips (optional for drizzling)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy, about 3-5 minutes. Mix in vanilla extract.
  3. In a separate bowl, combine flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Gradually add to the butter mixture until just combined.
  4. Shape dough into 1-inch balls, place on the baking sheet, and create a thumbprint indent in each. Fill with caramel sauce.
  5. Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are lightly golden. Allow to cool on the baking sheet, optionally drizzle melted chocolate before serving.

Notes
