- 1 box chocolate cake mix
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1 cup caramel sauce
- 1 cup chocolate pudding mix
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup crushed nuts (optional)
- Whipped cream (for serving)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- In a large bowl, combine the chocolate cake mix, water, vegetable oil, and eggs. Mix well until the batter is smooth.
- Pour the cake batter into the greased baking dish. Sprinkle chocolate chips over the batter. In a separate bowl, whisk together the chocolate pudding mix and milk until blended. Pour this mixture over the chocolate cake and chips, then drizzle the caramel sauce on top. Optionally, sprinkle with crushed nuts.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until set and slightly bubbly around the edges. Allow to cool before serving. Top with whipped cream.
Notes
