Description

A delightful treat that combines the salty crunch of pretzels with the rich sweetness of caramel and chocolate, all enhanced by the deep flavor of coffee.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups pretzel sticks, crushed
  • 1 cup caramel candies
  • 1/2 cup brewed coffee
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking dish with parchment paper.
  2. Crush the pretzel sticks and spread them evenly across the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
  3. In a saucepan, combine caramel candies, brewed coffee, unsalted butter, brown sugar, and salt. Heat over low-medium heat, stirring frequently until melted and smooth. Pour over the pretzels.
  4. Sprinkle chocolate chips over the caramel layer and bake for 10-12 minutes until the chocolate is melted.
  5. Allow to cool completely, then slice into squares.

Notes

For best flavor, serve at room temperature. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to five days.
