- 1 lb beef steak (sirloin or flank)
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 1 green bell pepper, sliced
- 1 onion, sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
- 1/2 cup beef broth
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cut the beef into thin strips and marinate in soy sauce and cornstarch for 15-30 minutes.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the marinated beef to the skillet and cook until browned, about 4-5 minutes.
- Remove the beef and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the green bell pepper, onion, garlic, and ginger; stir-fry until tender, about 3-4 minutes.
- Return the beef to the skillet and add beef broth and oyster sauce; stir well to combine and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
- Season the dish with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve hot over rice or noodles.
