Description

A delightful dish that combines tender beef with fresh vegetables, flavored with soy sauce, ginger, and garlic, perfect for busy weeknights.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb beef steak (sirloin or flank)
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
  • 1/2 cup beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cut the beef into thin strips and marinate in soy sauce and cornstarch for 15-30 minutes.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the marinated beef to the skillet and cook until browned, about 4-5 minutes.
  4. Remove the beef and set aside.
  5. In the same skillet, add the green bell pepper, onion, garlic, and ginger; stir-fry until tender, about 3-4 minutes.
  6. Return the beef to the skillet and add beef broth and oyster sauce; stir well to combine and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
  7. Season the dish with salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Serve hot over rice or noodles.

Notes

For added flavor, consider marinating longer or using high-quality beef. Customize by adding other vegetables or adjusting spice levels.
