Instructions
- In a shallow dish, combine flour, salt, and pepper.
- In another bowl, whisk together the eggs and buttermilk until smooth.
- Dip each steak into the egg mixture, then into the flour mixture, pressing down to coat.
- Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and fry the coated steaks for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Remove from skillet and let drain on paper towels. Serve hot with gravy if desired.
