Ingredients

- 2 cups cooked chicken, shredded
- 2 cups cooked rice
- 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked chicken, cooked rice, 3/4 cup of cheddar cheese, cream of mushroom soup, milk, frozen mixed vegetables, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Mix until everything is well combined. Pour the mixture into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish. Top with the remaining cheddar cheese and sprinkle breadcrumbs on top if desired.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the casserole is hot and bubbly. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
This casserole can be customized with your favorite vegetables or spices. It can be prepared a day in advance and stored in the refrigerator before baking.
