- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise

Instructions
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the thinly sliced onions and cook, stirring occasionally, for about 20-30 minutes until caramelized and golden brown.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the sour cream, cream cheese, mayonnaise, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until smooth.
- Once the onions have cooled slightly, fold them into the cream mixture.
- Serve the dip chilled or at room temperature, garnished with fresh chives if desired.
Notes
This dip can be made ahead of time and will stay fresh in the fridge for up to 5 days. Adjust seasoning to taste.
