Ingredients

- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 cups rolled oats
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1 cup caramel sauce
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
- Cream together the soft unsalted butter and brown sugar until smooth and fluffy. Mix in the rolled oats, all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt until well combined.
- Press half of the oat mixture into the bottom of the prepared pan and bake for 10 minutes. Remove from oven and sprinkle chocolate chips over the baked base. Drizzle caramel sauce, then crumble remaining oat mixture on top. Bake for an additional 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
- Allow the bars to cool completely in the pan before cutting into squares.
Notes
Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to one week or refrigerate for up to two weeks. For long-term storage, freeze individually wrapped bars for up to three months.
