Description

Enjoy the classic flavors of a burger without the bun in these customizable and healthy burger bowls packed with vibrant vegetables and juicy beef.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1 cup lettuce, shredded
  • 1/2 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1/4 cup pickles, sliced
  • 1/4 cup red onion, diced
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup mustard
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Start by preheating your skillet over medium heat. Once it’s warm, add the ground beef into the skillet. Break it apart with your spatula for even cooking, seasoning it with salt and pepper to enhance its flavor.
  2. Cook the ground beef for about 8-10 minutes, stirring occasionally until it’s nicely browned. Make sure it’s cooked through and no pink remains.
  3. While the beef is cooking, grab a bowl and layer the bottom with shredded lettuce.
  4. Once the beef is cooked, carefully spoon it over the lettuce layer. Next, add in the halved cherry tomatoes, shredded cheddar cheese, sliced pickles, and diced red onion.
  5. Finish the burger bowls by drizzling your desired amount of ketchup and mustard on top.
  6. Serve the burger bowls immediately for the best taste and freshness.

Notes

Customize your bowls with additional toppings like avocado, jalapeños, or hot sauce. Leftovers can be stored separately for optimal freshness.
