Description

A delightful fusion of classic Italian bruschetta flavors and pizza, topped with tomatoes, mozzarella, and basil.


Ingredients

  • 4 Roma tomatoes
  • 8 oz fresh mozzarella
  • 1 cup fresh basil
  • 2 tbsp balsamic glaze
  • 1 lb pizza dough
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 475°F (245°C).
  2. Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface.
  3. Transfer the dough to a pizza stone or a baking sheet.
  4. Brush the dough lightly with olive oil and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  5. Slice the Roma tomatoes and fresh mozzarella into thin pieces.
  6. Distribute the sliced tomatoes and mozzarella on the dough.
  7. Bake in the oven for about 12-15 minutes until golden.
  8. Remove the pizza from the oven and top it with fresh basil leaves.
  9. Drizzle with balsamic glaze before serving.
  10. Slice into wedges and enjoy!

Notes

Best served immediately while warm and the cheese is still gooey. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
