Delightful and creative breakfast bites combining flaky crescent roll pastry with breakfast sausages.
Ingredients

- 1 package of refrigerated crescent roll dough
- 10 breakfast sausages
- 1 cup shredded cheese (optional)
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Unroll the crescent roll dough and separate it into triangles. Sprinkle cheese if desired.
- Place a breakfast sausage at the wide end of each triangle and roll it up towards the point.
- Place the pigs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Beat the egg for an egg wash and brush it on top of each pig in a blanket.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown. Serve warm.
Notes
Best enjoyed fresh out of the oven. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
