Description

A luxurious drink that combines rich, creamy hot chocolate with a splash of your favorite liquor, perfect for holiday gatherings or cozy evenings.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup whiskey or your choice of liqueur
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Whipped cream for topping
  • Chocolate shavings for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, heat the milk and heavy cream over medium heat until it’s just beginning to steam. Avoid boiling.
  2. Stir in the chocolate chips and sugar until melted and smooth.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in the whiskey and vanilla extract.
  4. Pour into mugs, top with whipped cream, and sprinkle with chocolate shavings. Serve warm.

Notes

For a festive touch, rim mugs with chocolate syrup and crushed candy canes. Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
