- 2 medium potatoes, peeled and cubed
- 1 medium cauliflower, cut into florets
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 tomatoes, chopped
- 2 teaspoons ginger-garlic paste
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon coriander powder
- 1 teaspoon garam masala
- Salt to taste
- Fresh cilantro for garnish
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 1/4 cup water
Instructions
- Begin by heating the oil in your slow cooker. Add the cumin seeds and let them sizzle for a few seconds.
- Add the chopped onion to the pot and sauté until it turns translucent, about 5 minutes. Stir in the ginger-garlic paste and cook for another minute.
- Toss in the chopped tomatoes, turmeric powder, coriander powder, and salt. Cook until the tomatoes soften, about 5-7 minutes. Add the cubed potatoes and cauliflower florets, mixing thoroughly.
- Sprinkle garam masala over the top and add the water. Cover the slow cooker and cook on low for 6-7 hours or on high for 3-4 hours. Garnish with fresh cilantro before serving.
Notes
Feel free to add other vegetables or adjust spices to your preference. Can be served with rice or naan.
