Description

BBQ Chicken Flatbreads combine the smoky sweetness of BBQ sauce with tender, shredded chicken on crispy flatbread, perfect for game day or family dinners.


Ingredients

  • Flatbread or pizza dough
  • Cooked chicken, shredded
  • BBQ sauce
  • Cheddar cheese, shredded
  • Red onion, sliced thin
  • Cilantro, chopped (optional)
  • Olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Roll out the flatbread or pizza dough if needed. Brush the flatbreads lightly with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.
  3. Mix the shredded chicken with BBQ sauce until well coated. Top each flatbread with the BBQ chicken, a sprinkle of cheddar cheese, and red onion slices.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes or until the cheese is melted and the edges are golden brown. Remove from the oven and garnish with chopped cilantro if desired. Slice and serve hot.

Notes

Use pre-cooked rotisserie chicken for quicker preparation. Feel free to mix different cheeses for varied flavors.
