Description

A delightful twist on traditional fried rice featuring colorful vegetables and a spicy bang bang sauce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 1 cup mixed vegetables (peas, carrots, corn)
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 3 green onions, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
  • 12 tablespoons chili sauce (for bang bang flavor)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: fried egg for topping

Instructions

  1. Heat sesame oil in a large pan over medium heat.
  2. Add garlic and ginger, and sauté until fragrant, about 30 seconds.
  3. Add mixed vegetables and stir-fry until tender, approximately 3-4 minutes. Then, add the cooked rice, soy sauce, and chili sauce. Stir well to combine all the ingredients and cook for a few minutes until heated through.
  4. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Top with chopped green onions and a fried egg if desired.

Notes

Use day-old rice for best texture. Customize vegetables and adjust chili sauce according to taste.
