Description

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • Pinch of salt
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
  2. Mash the bananas in a bowl until smooth, then stir in the melted butter.
  3. Add baking soda, salt, sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla; mix well.
  4. Fold in flour and walnuts until just combined.
  5. Pour batter into the loaf pan and bake for about 60 minutes, checking doneness with a toothpick.
  6. Allow to cool before slicing.
