- 1/3 cup melted butter
- 1 teaspoon baking soda

- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 large egg, beaten
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a loaf pan.
- Mash the bananas in a bowl until smooth, then stir in the melted butter.
- Add baking soda, salt, sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla; mix well.
- Fold in flour and walnuts until just combined.
- Pour batter into the loaf pan and bake for about 60 minutes, checking doneness with a toothpick.
- Allow to cool before slicing.
Notes
For a flavor boost, consider adding cinnamon or nutmeg or substitute walnuts with chocolate chips for variety.
