- 2 ripe bananas, mashed
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 beaten egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- Extra vanilla extract for frosting
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Mix the mashed bananas with the melted butter, then add sugar, egg, and vanilla.
- Combine the flour, baking soda, and salt in another bowl.
- Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the banana mixture until just combined.
- Roll the dough onto a floured surface into a rectangle and sprinkle cinnamon over it.
- Carefully roll the dough into a log and cut into 8 equal rolls.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
- Prepare the frosting by mixing cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
- Spread the frosting over the warm rolls and serve.
Notes
Use very ripe bananas for maximum sweetness. If the frosting is too thick, add a splash of milk.
