Description
Baked Crispy Chicken Strips are a delicious, healthier alternative to fried chicken, coated with a crunchy breading that’s perfect for both kids and adults.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound chicken breast, cut into strips
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup flour
- 2 eggs, beaten
- Cooking spray
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a bowl, combine the breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Place the flour in a shallow dish. Dip each chicken strip first into the flour, shaking off the excess, then into the beaten eggs, and finally coat with the breadcrumb mixture.
- Arrange the coated chicken strips on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Spray lightly with cooking spray and bake for 20-25 minutes until cooked through and golden.
Notes
For an extra kick, add cayenne pepper or Italian seasoning to the breadcrumb mixture. For gluten-free options, use gluten-free breadcrumbs and flour.
