- 1 lb cooked chicken, shredded
- 8 taco shells
- 1 cup cheese, shredded (cheddar or Mexican blend)
- 1 cup lettuce, chopped
- 1 cup tomatoes, diced
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup salsa
- 1 tablespoon taco seasoning
- Olive oil (for brushing)
- Optional toppings (jalapeños, avocado, cilantro)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Combine the shredded chicken with taco seasoning in a bowl.
- Brush the taco shells with olive oil and place them upright in a baking dish. Fill with chicken mixture and top with cheese. Bake for 10-15 minutes.
- Remove from the oven and top with lettuce, tomatoes, and any additional toppings. Serve with sour cream and salsa.
