Description

Delicious baked chicken tacos filled with seasoned chicken, melted cheese, and fresh toppings, perfect for family dinners or weeknight meals.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb cooked chicken, shredded
  • 8 taco shells
  • 1 cup cheese, shredded (cheddar or Mexican blend)
  • 1 cup lettuce, chopped
  • 1 cup tomatoes, diced
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup salsa
  • 1 tablespoon taco seasoning
  • Olive oil (for brushing)
  • Optional toppings (jalapeños, avocado, cilantro)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Combine the shredded chicken with taco seasoning in a bowl.
  3. Brush the taco shells with olive oil and place them upright in a baking dish. Fill with chicken mixture and top with cheese. Bake for 10-15 minutes.
  4. Remove from the oven and top with lettuce, tomatoes, and any additional toppings. Serve with sour cream and salsa.
