- 4 medium potatoes, peeled and quartered
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- Butter for frying
Instructions
- Boil the potatoes in salted water until soft, then drain them and let them cool slightly.
- Mash the potatoes until smooth, then mix in the flour and salt until a dough forms.
- Divide the dough into two pieces and shape each into a round disc about 1/2 inch thick.
- Cut each disc into quarters.
- Heat butter in a skillet over medium heat and fry the farls for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
