Ingredients

  • 1 apple, cored and chopped
  • 1 banana
  • 1 cup yogurt or almond milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup (optional)
  • 1/2 cup ice

Instructions

  1. Prepare your ingredients by coring and chopping the apple, and peeling and slicing the banana.
  2. In a blender, combine the chopped apple, banana, yogurt (or almond milk), cinnamon, nutmeg, and maple syrup if using.
  3. Add the ice to the blender and blend until you achieve a smooth and creamy texture.
  4. Pour the smoothie into a glass and optionally sprinkle with cinnamon before serving. Enjoy immediately!

Serve chilled for best taste. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge and consume within 24 hours.
