- 2 apples
- Peanut butter or almond butter
- Mini marshmallows
- Grape (or other fruit) slices
- 1 cup yogurt (for fruit dip)
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Cut the apples in half and remove the core to create ‘mouths’.
- Spread peanut butter or almond butter on the inside of the apple halves.
- Place mini marshmallows along the top edge to create ‘teeth’.
- Use grape slices or other fruit pieces to create a tongue.
- In a small bowl, mix yogurt, honey, and vanilla extract to make the fruit dip.
- Serve the apple mouths with the fruit dip on the side.
Notes
Best enjoyed fresh, but leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 1 day. Squeeze lemon juice on cut apples to prevent browning.
