Description

A fun and creative snack that’s perfect for parties, Halloween, or a family treat. Crisp apples combined with creamy nut butter and a sweet fruit dip make these mouth-watering creations a hit for both kids and adults.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 apples
  • Peanut butter or almond butter
  • Mini marshmallows
  • Grape (or other fruit) slices
  • 1 cup yogurt (for fruit dip)
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Cut the apples in half and remove the core to create ‘mouths’.
  2. Spread peanut butter or almond butter on the inside of the apple halves.
  3. Place mini marshmallows along the top edge to create ‘teeth’.
  4. Use grape slices or other fruit pieces to create a tongue.
  5. In a small bowl, mix yogurt, honey, and vanilla extract to make the fruit dip.
  6. Serve the apple mouths with the fruit dip on the side.

Notes

Best enjoyed fresh, but leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 1 day. Squeeze lemon juice on cut apples to prevent browning.
