- 1 cup almond butter
- 1 cup dark chocolate chips
- 2 tbsp honey or maple syrup
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- Sea salt (for sprinkling)
Instructions
- Melt the dark chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl or using a double boiler until smooth and creamy. Stir regularly to prevent burning.
- In a separate bowl, combine the almond butter, honey (or maple syrup), and vanilla extract. Mix thoroughly until the ingredients blend seamlessly.
- Line a muffin tin with paper liners to hold the cups.
- Pour a thin layer of melted chocolate into the bottom of each liner, then refrigerate for about 10 minutes until the chocolate sets.
- Add a generous spoonful of the almond butter mixture on top of the chocolate in each liner, followed by another layer of melted chocolate, covering the almond butter completely.
- Sprinkle a pinch of sea salt on top and refrigerate for about 30 minutes until firm.
