Almond Butter Cups

Description

Delight your taste buds with these homemade Almond Butter Cups, a simple yet satisfying treat that blends creamy almond butter with rich dark chocolate.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup almond butter
  • 1 cup dark chocolate chips
  • 2 tbsp honey or maple syrup
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • Sea salt (for sprinkling)

Instructions

  1. Melt the dark chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl or using a double boiler until smooth and creamy. Stir regularly to prevent burning.
  2. In a separate bowl, combine the almond butter, honey (or maple syrup), and vanilla extract. Mix thoroughly until the ingredients blend seamlessly.
  3. Line a muffin tin with paper liners to hold the cups.
  4. Pour a thin layer of melted chocolate into the bottom of each liner, then refrigerate for about 10 minutes until the chocolate sets.
  5. Add a generous spoonful of the almond butter mixture on top of the chocolate in each liner, followed by another layer of melted chocolate, covering the almond butter completely.
  6. Sprinkle a pinch of sea salt on top and refrigerate for about 30 minutes until firm.
  7. Serve and enjoy!
