Description

A quick and flavorful stir fry featuring ground beef and fresh vegetables, perfect for weeknight dinners.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3/4 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 head cabbage
  • 2 carrots (shredded or thinly sliced)
  • 3 green onions (sliced)
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp sriracha
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp rice vinegar
  • 1/2 tbsp cooking oil (grapeseed or vegetable oil)
  • Pinch salt
  • Pinch pepper
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Prepare the vegetables: Slice the cabbage into thin strips, shred the carrots, and chop the green onions.
  2. Make the sauce: In a bowl, mix the soy sauce, sesame oil, sriracha, brown sugar, and rice vinegar until well combined.
  3. Heat the cooking oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sauté minced garlic and grated ginger until fragrant, about 1 minute. Then, add the ground beef and cook until browned.
  4. Add the cabbage, carrots, and green onions. Pour the prepared sauce over everything. Cook for another 5-7 minutes until the veggies are tender but still crisp. Season with salt and pepper; sprinkle with sesame seeds before serving.

Notes

Serve warm over rice or noodles. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
